Important Notice
Hello everyone,
I want to share an important update with you, and I truly appreciate your understanding as I do.
Following recent appointments with my healthcare providers, I need to make adjustments due to my ankylosing spondylitis to ensure I can continue grooming safely and sustainably. In order to protect my health and maintain the level of care your pets deserve, effective May 8th, I will be:
• Adjusting my weight limit to 25 lbs and under (I’m not able to make exceptions at this time), and
• Limiting the level of more strenuous physical handling required during appointments
This means I will no longer be able to safely accommodate dogs who require extensive physical support, restraint, or handling due to size, strength, or behavioral needs (including severe anxiety or reactivity).
This was not an easy decision. This business means everything to me, and making sure I can continue caring for dogs safely is incredibly important. However, continuing to work beyond my physical limits could result in injury that would prevent me from grooming altogether. By making these changes now, I am protecting my ability to do what I love long-term.
As always, my priority is your dog’s comfort, safety, and emotional well-being. Grooming should never feel overwhelming or forceful, and I remain deeply committed to a low-stress, compassionate approach.
For clients who may be affected by these changes:
I truly value the relationship I’ve built with you and your pets. And I will deeply miss being able to work with you and your dogs. I am more than happy to recommend other groomers who are better equipped to support dogs with higher weights and handling needs. My current #1 recommendation is Glamour Paw Spa, she has a small salon like I do, certifications, and is accepting new clients of all sizes.

Thank you for your continued kindness, trust, and support—it truly means the world to me.
